Sprinkle a pinch up to 1/4tsp on their food to help promote healthy digestion and ease your dog into tranquility. 
Not all dogs are the same. Not to be used on dogs under 1 year old. 
Give it time! It takes approximately 20-30 minutes for the calming effects to kick in, ensuring a gradual and enjoyable experience. The effects usually wear off in an hour or two.
